Weekly farmers markets in Bar Harbor and Northeast Harbor, ME. We have wonderful Maine vendors who are bakers, farmers, and craftspeople. At our market you can find vegetables, fruits, preserves of all kinds, bread and baked goods, seafood, meats, eggs, goat cheese, flowers, plants, fiber crafts, prepared foods and more. Even better, you know that all of these delicious items are grown locally and are as fresh as humanly possible! On Sundays we are in Bar Harbor in the YMCA parking lot from 9:00-12:00, and Thursdays we are in Northeast Harbor behind the Kimball Terrace Inn from 9:00-12:00.

This farmer's market is small but has lots of great local items. There are several cheese vendors as well as bakery items, meat, seafood, some produce and flowers. We always stop at the meat guy. His prices are high but worth it. We also go to a sausage booth which is fantastic. I am not a cheese fan but the... More

We were in Maine summer of 2015 and stopped by the Farmers Market. We bought fresh fish, tiny new potatoes, baby green beans, dill, newly dug beets and a loaf of fresh bread. Our cabin had a kitchen and we prepared the best meal of our vacation with our purchases.

They could use some more vendors, it was a little disappointing, but one place had good beef jerkey.

Combine with the shore path to the south end and on a Sunday from 9 -12 and enjoy the farmers market too.

The Eden Farm Market is small but pleasant. The mix of foods mostly represents the area well and the vendors like to interact and offer tips for using their seasonings, oils, preserves, ciders, etc. Among the many vegetables offered I was surprised by the few fruit selections. Did not see blueberries! But there were blueberry products.

We walked over to pick up some local cheeses and cured meats! We were pleasantly surprised to see the amazing organic produce-- great meats and cheeses! We had a lamb cured meat that was out of this world! We would definitely come back here to load up on essentials for our trip! And apparently Martha Stewart was there as well!

After reading several reviews I put this on our list to visit at the start of our vacation. Despite having to venture out in a down pour we found a great selection of local meats, cheeses & various other things to try during our stay. The vendors were friendly offered samples to help us with our selections. Everything we purchased... More

There are two farmers' markets on the island: Bar Harbor's Eden Farmers Market and the Northeast Harbor Farmers Market. We went to the Eden Farmers Market, which is the one listed here. It is located on Park St. at the YMCA, across from the ball field, from 9 - Noon on Sunday. We went twice and bought smoked chorizo, summer... More

The lines for fresh vegetables at 9 am is unbelievable. Plus you never know what celebrity you Yes, this is where I stood next to Martha Stewart and bought from the same butcher as she did! She bought pigs feet, while I settled for bacon and brisket. You can buy fresh seafood, meat, bread, vegetables, flowers, fruits or preserves. There... More
