This place is like a step back in time...old fashion ice cream counter and chocolate confectionary. We visited here the last Saturday in October and it was freezing cold weather, but there was a line for ice cream, so doesn't that tell you, this place is terrific!

Great location on main shopping street, just above the square and pier. Service was quick. The ice cream was thick and creamy with blueberry flavor and large whole blueberries through out. So many other flavors to choose from even "Lobster" If your in Bar Harbor give it a try, you will love it too

Tried the lobster ice cream. Wasn't awful. Had Grand Mariner and Chocolate Explosion. Really good ice cream. Priced for tourists. Pleasant staff.

It really looks like a chaotic tourist trap, from outside, and we did not even notice the name of this store, until we returned home to see our pictures to see what it was. But, our experience was surely good and we left Bar Harbor with one good memory. They must be doing something right. ______________ We got 3 flavors... More

Cute shop and the ice cream was great but the service was poor. The girl waiting on us seemed annoyed and all we got were two chocolate ice cream cones.

I was craving coffee milkshake and wife ordered chocolate and a coffee. Both shakes were amazing. Long line but went quickly.

We stopped in for some gelato and ordered two small cups. My wife asked for cappuccino gelato and was served a full cup. I requested two flavors of gelato - pistachio and chocolate mint cookie. The serving I initially got did not look like the correct flavors so I asked if it was gelato and found out that it wasn't.... More

We tried the employee's two recommended flavors and they were fantastic. I had a mudslide flavor which was outside my wheelhouse but it was to die for. Neat shoppe and delicious ice cream. Look for the lobster out front :)

Candy, chocolate, and ice cream. What's not to love? I was disappointed that the candy bins weren't self serve because that is fun for the kids but still a good selection. Also have fudge and toffee which we didn't get but looked good. Line was long but it moved fast. We got the black berry which was delicious. They have... More
