We bought some snorkeling equipment in the ABC store nearby. The water is very clean and there are lots of carols and fishes. The carols reef are just 200-300m away from the coast. The only disadvantage of the fishes and carols is not diversified enough.

This was the start and finish point of the Guam Marathon. The park itself is spacious but at that time, it was covered with tourists and visitors, as well as the organizers. Although they try arranging it nicely, it was still very chaotic. Some people...More

Ypao beach is a great place to visit. It's clean and right by the beach and walking distance from the Hilton Hotel. Worth going to if you plan a day at the beach and hanging out in Tumon Bay.

Clear and shallow water makes this park an enjoyable place to visit. It is easily accessible closed to the Hilton hotel.

As with Tumon Beach, Ypao Beach is a great snorkeling beach, with a coral reef that prevents the waves from coming in, an absolutely huge shallow sandy area that is miles wide.....there can be a bit of tide pull, so be careful but the reef...More

The ABC stores have snorkels that range from 10 USD all the way up to 40 USD. I bought my son one for 20 and it works fine. There are also several other shops in the area that sell snorkel, SCUBA, and surfing items.
