Beautiful beach, and I especially love the fact that there is usually a lifeguard. This is a marine preserve where you will find tons of gorgeous tropical fish when snorkeling.

Ypao Beach was my favorite among all the beaches in Guam. It is clean and not too crowded during the time we went there. You can see the hotels and buildings from the Downtown area.

This beach is busy during the weekends as locals celebrate birthdays, reunions, or picnics. Parking can be limited if you go late.

Beautiful scenery. Great snorkeling. Lots of locals bbq. Fun family spot to hang out at over the weekend. Sundays are extremely packed though.

nice parking area on each side of park. there are many covered tables and BBQ pits to use. plus the open beach with life guard on duty during the day. but not to safe at night. I think the park gate closes around 8:00pm

The water is incredibly clear and we could see fish even without any goggles or snorkelling equipment. The water is shallow over a large span but quickly drops off in some areas. There's a lot of parking and even on a summer day in August...More

Always a great place to go to get some vitaminsea. Or just a breath of fresh air, hang out or BBQ with family. Life guard on hand and always ready to respond. Nice place to be and watch the sunset go down.

I took some bread with me to feed the fish in the ocean here and it was pretty cool. This area of the beach is very clear and primarily free of coral. Not sure if it was just me but it doesn't seem as if...More

The park itself has plenty of walking or running trails and plenty of space to hang out solo or with friends. The beach strand is a little narrow, but that might have just been high tide; in any case, it's wide enough to stroll along...More

We had to venture out a ways to get to good snorkeling, but once we found it, the snorkeling was great! The water stays relatively shallow, and there was a very attentive lifeguard in his beach hut watching through binoculars and what not, so this...More

The ABC stores have snorkels that range from 10 USD all the way up to 40 USD. I bought my son one for 20 and it works fine. There are also several other shops in the area that sell snorkel, SCUBA, and surfing items.
