We noticed this beach was mainly for locals. There is a sign saying strong current no swimming yet the locals still go in the water. There were people rocking in the water with the wave but not very far in due to the strong current....More

Gorgeous beach with nice mountain and rock views but waves are high and probably not a good spot for young families.

We stopped here after stopping at the overlook and walked around the rocks (carefully of course) instead of going down to the beach. The combination of the cliffs, the color of the water, the islands just past the shore, and the waves crashing in left...More

Waiting for dinner we came along here for a walk. The black rocks can create a challenge to traverse, but are worth the risk for the amazing views of the surfers and locals working the waves!

Nice beach, great views, but always be aware of the waves. Can be very rough at times. Good beach for bodyboarding.

Beautiful area. Not the best for swimming. Watch for strong currents. A lot of rocks too. You can body surf in a small area. Nice place for a gathering or picnic. Park in the lot or on the street.
