We visited this recreation area during our Circle Island Tour with Oahu Nature Tours. This quiet recreation area fronts a long white rustic sand beach. It has a great surf and being quiet has no lifeguards.

A very nice recreation area along the Kamehameha Highway 83 on the North East side of the island. The park has plenty of parking and has modern bathroom facilities, you can also camp but only in designated areas with a permit. The beach is nice to walk along or also for swimming but be careful between the shore and Goat Island because of the cross currents. Five stars.... yes... what can I say bad about the place????

Located on the north eastern coast of Oahu, we had this beach all to ourselves when we visited on a weekday, in late April. There is plenty of parking here, and the lots are shaded by lush trees. There were peacocks running around the grounds. The beach was powdery and golden, with tree trunks strewn along the waterline. There was a real secluded in paradise feeling here. Bring a cooler with snacks and drinks and your beach gear and enjoy a day in paradise at this beach. The view if tiny Goat Island just off the beach is beautiful. The water can be a little rough here but it is swim-able if you are a confident swimmer.

This is a stunning park for a day trip with campsites available as well if you want to stay longer. Gorgeous beach and views as well and lots of places to stay in the shade. Appears to be very well maintained. Would love to come back and spend the night!

I love taking a morning stroll along the water. There's usually just a handful of people on the beach, though the camping can get pretty crowded. All in all, a great place for some alone time!
