I would say this place is off the beaten path but it's just off of Kamehameha Hwy (83) to the east in the small town of Laie. Your not really allowed to park a car there but.... As for the views they are worth seeing...More
At the Laie Point State Wayside Park, the stop is all about the views--nearly 360 degrees of them! If you want to see (and photograph) the wild beauty of the North Shore, the Laie Point is definitely worth the stop.

Rocky peninsula with cool wave action. Great stop for photos as you can look back on the town of Laie and the mountains. You can walk out several hundred yards and it seems like a good fishing spot for the locals who were out there.
