This is one extremely beautiful photo opportunity and worth the drive. The waves get quite large so stay away from the edges!

Laie Point is fun to see once but not a lot to do. It is a rocky area where some movies have been shot but it is not a big beach where you would want to spend a lot of time relaxing.

End of the Street with limited parking. Clearly worth the wait for the magnificent view of waves crashing.

Despite having visited Oahu several times, we had never stopped to see this stunning spot! The parking spaces at the end of the road are few, but we managed.

We could have spent so much more time here, just watching the waves break on the rocks and islands. It was amazing, and mesmerizing. Don't miss this. It wasn't advertised much, but it was easy to find and well worth the effort.

At the Laie Point State Wayside Park, the stop is all about the views--nearly 360 degrees of them! If you want to see (and photograph) the wild beauty of the North Shore, the Laie Point is definitely worth the stop.

If you are in the Laie area, do make the drive to Laie Point. It is beautiful there - you can get great photos. This is not a place to swim at all - very rocky and strong waves. We saw lots of big black...More
