One of the top Hawaii attractions includes the Polynesian Cultural Center, which features a 42-acre facility on the North Shore of Oahu. Founded in 1963, the nonprofit Center was created so that the students of nearby Brigham Young University Hawaii could work their way through college by sharing their island heritage with visitors. The students come from an area that covers approximately 12 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.

Everyone at the centre was genuinely happy and pleasant! We felt so welcome. The shows during our tour of the villages were great, the luau buffet and show were impressive, and the night show "Ha, Breath of Life" was a great ending. The entertainment and food never stopped. Because it is so large, it is great they allow you to... More

If you are visiting the Waikiki area and book this trip for the luau and dance show, you will not be disappointed. You will, however, need a car, or I will suggest booking a bus tour to the Center. The bus tour will fight the one way roads and traffic, and get you there safely and on time ( 1... More

Brought the family to experience the Polynesian Cultural Center. Awesome entertainment by "KAP", he happens to be an artist too. Theater show was something worth watching. Buffet food was great. Lots of souvenirs to bring back home. Learn their dance and culture.

I purchased the Ambassador Package & I believe it was well worth it. Our package included a guided tour (they ask if you need other languages) We chose to get our guide in Spanish so my mom could understand better. Our guide Taylor, was amazing such a sweetheart & answered all of our questions. It was an amazing experience, we... More

We were told by locals in Haleiwa that the show was great but don't do the dinner or tour.... I think it was the right call for us, although the little bit we did walk around before the show was very interesting, so it's probably worth the visit. We bought the cheaper tickets a few days ahead of time. When... More

We had a great day here, Britney was our guide and we had fun with her. I liked all the different cultures of the park. The food was very good, and the show at the end was the best Luau I have ever been to. It was worth the money.

We took our four grandchildren (ages 7,7,15 and 17) and two sets of parents to the Polynesian center and purchased the "Admission & Show with "FREE" dinner" package. Each of the six villages had something for everyone and we all thoroughly the shows at each village, the craft and game interactions as well as learning a bit about Polynesian culture.... More

Aloha! Thank you for coming to the Polynesian Cultural Center. I'm glad your family enjoyed yourselves for the most part! I apologize for the miscommunication with your dining option. It does sound like you attended the Island Buffett or Prime Dining. On your next visit I would highly recommend the Ali'i Luau package, which will certainly offer you the Luau... More

Wasn't sure what to expect as reviews have been varied. We opted for the small group package with a guide. This incorporated all of the main activities for the day, access to seating for shows at each nation, private dining and good seats to the HA! show. worth it, yes. As it was a very humid and hot day, having... More

This may some people's only chance to spend time with people from the many islands of Polynesia. Timing is important so that you can see all of the shows and experience all of the crafts, games and shows. Have been here with friends as well as the teacher in charge of a field trip. Each of the visits was a... More
