This is a nice cultural experience, but perhaps a bit touristy and overprice for what you get. However, it is certainly a place to visit, once and only once, while in Hawaii. We enjoyed it but no need to go back again.

We were staying nearby and saw the Polynesian Cultural Center. We weren't sure what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed our day there. We highly recommend it. Very educational and fun for the whole family.

Yes, there was a buffet of fish and different meat. You could eat the pork, but not everyone eats it if they want.
