One of the top Hawaii attractions includes the Polynesian Cultural Center, which features a 42-acre facility on the North Shore of Oahu. Founded in 1963, the nonprofit Center was created so that the students of nearby Brigham Young University Hawaii could work their way through college by sharing their island heritage with visitors. The students come from an area that covers approximately 12 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean.

For tourist this is the place to go. To be honest with you. Hawaii is small but its kinda overwhelming to decide where to go to get the full Polynesian experience and the Luau feast. It's like Disney but Polynesian. We have nothing but great experience in this place. From the moment we arrive all the way to the amazing... More

It can be an all day event and you still would not be able to see all the shops and shows. This was a great experience and with great entertainment. I recommend it to anyone.

Spent the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, Oahu. Learned so much about the 7 archipelago island nations: Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti and the Marques. Experienced their dancing, music, history, culture, homes, handiwork, games and foods. An amazing luau with fresh flower leis, wonderful food, pineapple drinks, and great entertainment. A phenomenal evening performance telling... More

My husband & I had booked the Ali'i Luau Buffet which included the Ha Breath of Life show. As we had a packed day of other activities we got there just in time to start dinner. We didn't get to go to any of the Village experiences which was disappointing. For the Luau they really pack you in! The seating... More

This experience is a must do one when visiting Hawaii. It emerses you in the whole Hawaiian culture & explains their story of how all the Polynesian islands are linked together. I suggest you upgrade to the Ambassador ticket which is only an extra $25 but you get so many extras and priorities with that voucher. The main one being a... More

Excellent presentation of Hawaiian culture in very family-friendly fashion. You can see what was lost with the advent of European civilization, disease, missionaries and merchants!

Before or after a visit to the Center checkout the market. From local food trucks to a bakery to shops and several eateries this is worth a visit. Lots of free parking and accessible.

Want to experience Hawaii and the culture? Get a taste of a Luau? This is the place to go. This was one of the first places we went on our honeymoon. It was great, we loved just walking around here and had our first ever luau.
