Hukilau Beach is a great area for families to swim. The waves aren’t too big and it’s not too crowded.

Lots of sand and fairly high waves allowed our family to enjoy bodysurfing at this lovely beach. This was our favorite stop of the trip.

The beach is actually really beautiful but it is littered with plastic and glas chards everywhere. However the surf was pretty good for bodyboarding with older kid's.

A good place to stop and take some picture especially of the sea pounding the rocks and the sandy beach

There is shade, bathrooms, showers, picnic tables. Nice place to stop and check out. Don't walk barefooted - there is glass all over. The beach is nice and natural.

Wide open with plenty of room for all... This is a great place to go if you do not need facilities other than a shower to wash off the sand at the end of your day. Very undeveloped and natural feel to the beach/park, where...More

You get PERFECT waves to boogie board at this beach. And it was right across the street from where we were staying. Spent the whole afternoon here! So much fun for all ages.
