From the time you arrive the demonstrations into Hawaiian Culture begin! With the cutomary Mai Tai in hand you get to experience traditional Lei making, weaving and a HokiIlau which is very entertaining and amusing. The young attractive performers put on a wonderful and colourful...More

Fun night with kids, although ran a little late for 2.5 yr old still on CA time. Get there early to enjoy the activities (free). If staying at four seasons, aulani, beach villas, or Marriott, you could walk. Food was not great - more like...More

Everyone has to do a luau every now and then. We're staying in KoOlina and decided that we could kill one evening by going to this local event. BIG MISTAKE. We walked to the venue and arrived around 6:45pm (not into all the arts and...More

Best luau in Hawaii, IMO. And over the years we’ve been to several in Oahu, Maui and Kauai. The upgrade to “deluxe package” includes dinner served (vs buffet), priority seating and special gifts, and well worth the extra $. The show is very entertaining and...More

Comfortable bus with the lovely Etta who had a very dry sense of humour which we enjoyed. The card system worked well for drinks etc, the activities were fun and informative. The view was incredible. The show was very well done and the costumes and...More

We chose to be picked up at our hotel at 3:45pm. It is quite a ways out of Honolulu. But it is on a private beach. When we arrived we were served a Mai Tai or juice. They had different games, arts and crafts. They...More

I would say no. People between my party and the stage stood up and blocked the view of the stage. I know it's rated the best luau on Oahu but for me, it was a complete waste of money.

I found that it was very sandy as it was based by the beach. I would not recommend wearing high heals but rather something like thongs (so you can slip them off easy) or even joggers if you don't like sandy feet.
