So worth the money! Noah was awesome!! Took us on what seemed like all the bumps and sites of the valley. He tried to teach us some Hawaiian words (not sure we were good students) and talked to us about all the trees/plants in the area. Would definitely do it again.

I cannot recommend this company or our guide Keola highly enough!! We met at the North Shore and took an off road vehicle to the trail head. We had a perfect weather day with only occasional rain showers (just enough to cool you off) and little to no bugs. Keola had back packs, sunscreen, bug spray, dry bags, water shoes,... More

We were lucky enough to have an intimate tour of only our group of 4, with our guide Noah. We all had a wonderful day hiking, we slipped and slided all over the place in the mud, enjoyed the rainfall at times and relaxed at the swimming hole. Although we were all extremely exhausted at the end of it, we... More

Nuey, our driver and Hawaiian history and language educated guide, drove us over the rough terrain and creek crossings like the pro that he is. The vehicle is a 1950 Pinzgauer, affectionately known as "The Piglet". We saw three wild pigs, which I understand is very unusual. We caught just a glimpse of them as they bailed off the road... Definitely the highlight of our 9 days in Hawaii. All 3 of us had the experience of a lifetime with Keola. Right from the get go - the chant before entering the trail - we knew we were in for something different. Gorgeous landscape to be able to hike through, and Keola is such a wealth of information about the... More

It doesn't get much better than this if you enjoy hiking through a nice forest scenery. Our guide Keola was great. Nice guy and he also taught us much about the history of Hawaii's natural landscape and plant culture. There was also a nice pond halfway in where we could eat our delicious lunches that were provided and also swim... More

Paul was very nice and is a great guide if you are a bird enthusiast. The tour doesn't provide a lot of time to be spent at each attraction because of logistics, but for a "sampler" of tours... Very nice

This hike is an excellent way to both see the Hawaiian rainforest up close and learn about the people and culture from a local. Our guide was a university student in Hawaiian studies with a focus in land reclamation and conservation. We were exceptionally pleased to start our Hawaiian trip with learning about the land and the people firsthand, before... More
