What can you say but nature at its best. It is truly breath taking just keep 6 feet away and give the turtles their space. Just he patient and they will come. Nature at its best

Family-friendly slightly rocky semi-sheltered shore that permits fun skin diving and snorkeling adventures: plenty of fish to see, and if you're lucky you'll spot a sea turtle or two as well!

Ever dreamed of swimming with sea turtles? This days has come! Don't forget to bring your snorkeling gears, the best spot to swim with them is starting from the lifeguards observation deck. Then follow them swimming along the shore.

Parking is tough so be patient. We saw turtles waiting for waves to get them on the beach. Snorkeling was so-so; the turtle does not come to the snorkeling area. Beach was busy and not much shade. No wash off area either so be aware....More

Everyday we stopped by or spent time on this beach. The views as well as the turtles were amazing. The beach is rocky, and parking can be difficult. Well worth a visit.

You are almost guaranteed to see turtles here but you must be patient and give them space. They are protected and won't come up if crowded.

We took The Bus out here northeast of Honolulu.. This was one of our favorite places during our 3-week stay in Hawaii. During the afternoon, these large sea turtles swim onto the shore to sun themselves in the sand. This trek of the turtles usually...More

Great spot to see turtles up on the beach and in the shallows. There is a section of the beach where families were swimming but the highlight is the turtles.

The turtle guardian said that the turtles are there year round but are more abundant on the beach in summer. The ocean there has high surfs and currents, and swimming there is not recommended. The volunteer said that... More

We went on a day tour that included this beach. We found it easier then having to hire a car and pay for parking.

Yes, they only ask that you observe at a comfortable distance and do not impede their direction. Enjoy, it was a very memorable experience.
