Probably the best snorkeling spot on the island without a boat

A beautiful beach with good if not VERY shallow snorkeling. Probably ideal for very small children... read more

Love this beach. Will go back, lots of beach glass and coral. Snorkeling is right there, knee deep. Go early to beat the crowds. Everyone likes it. You can see Maui and turtle island.

A beautiful beach with good if not VERY shallow snorkeling. Probably ideal for very small children just learning to snorkel.

I really enjoy this beach, we love to snorkel so it was one beach to do so. Tide is low during summer and water clear. Not many fishes to see but it does have some pretty Coral where you will find some cute little fishes....More

Shady sandy beach right on the road Great swimming in summer ( June) and snorkelling off the beach Better sights out near the reef if you are a good swimmer

We stayed at a cottage near this beach. It was a beautiful place to sit and watch the water. Snorkeling ok, best for beginners or children to learn.

This is definitely my favorite Beach! The water is shallow with a ton of coral so water shoes are a necessity. Beautiful views and shaded areas.

Murphy's Beach has always been touted as a good place to snorkel. However, it is on the inside of the reef and very shallow that you hit you feet on the bottom. There are also not many fish at all to view.

This is the best beach to visit in the winter months. Make sure to go during higher tide, otherwise it's quite shallow. Decent snorkeling. It would be nice if there was bathrooms/porta-potties, but you can't have everything. Lots of parking, but you pretty much have...More

Gorgeous sandy beach and often we were the only ones there. The sand was a little abrasive but so beautiful and shallow.

This south side beach is protected enough that kids can go into the water in the area of the sandbar, and has some nice, albeit shallow, snorkeling. The sand falls off abruptly into a veritable garden of coral, with lots of interesting fish, sea cucumbers,...More
