Such a fun and informative tour, enjoyed the fresh pineapple samples straight from the field, and had a fabulous lunch at Hailemaile General Store, followed by a distillery tour of the pineapple based alcohol.

What days do they process the pineapples? I think my children would especially enjoy this part of the tour, if possible.

Many visitors note eating pineapple in the field. Are proper precautions taken when this occurs due to the increased reports of Rat Lungworm Disease on Maui?
