This pool is used regularly by locals but available for the guest before 4 pm. School use for lessons and events usually after 4 pm. Even has senior pool exercise classes in the am. Has a lap pool and a pool for free swim. Very well maintained and just remodeled in 2019. I live in Pukalani where this is located. It is very clean and gives you the real Maui local feel.

I’ve been a couple of times this week. Don’t expect a luxury spot but for those of us who just want to swim, it works. Watch out for the busy times because they’re are only 3 showers.

Like every other thing run by the govt. in Hawaii, it can be hit or miss. While the pool (10 lanes-25yd) here is very nice with nice views the lifeguards leave something to be desired. Don't get me wrong, the ladies and gentlemen are quite pleasant, friendly and helpful. However, all I have ever seen them do is sit. They sit in the guard chair guarding, they sit in the office, eating, reading or chatting. Up until yesterday I have never seen one I'm the locker room or walking around the pool. Yesterday I almost dropped my false teeth when I saw one in the locker room. Then I realized he was just washing his hands. Then later I actually saw one get a piece of paper that had been floating in the pool. Whoa!!! The locker room is a hole. The drains in the floor are the highest point in the floor. There are no towel hooks, so you can't dry off in the shower area like a gentleman but have to dry off in front of your locker changing in standing water. Its a swamp, its a hole, but its my hole. I
