Experience exciting lu'au entertainment right at our Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. The sound of the conch, the beating of the drums, and the echoes of the Hawaiian chant signal the start of Hawaii's most exciting Lu'au. We feature authentic dances and music of the old Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tonga, and Rarotonga in the hottest Lu'au Show in the Islands. See a preview of our lu'au here. Our Drums of the Pacific adventure includes:•Greeting with a shell lei and fresh mai tais or fruit punch for each guest •A delightful performance of Hawaiian music •Traditional arts and crafts demonstrations •Impressive torch lighting ceremony •Authentic imu ceremony - the unveiling of the main dish, Kalua Pua'a. •Friendly greetings by Royal Polynesians, followed by a Polynesian fashion show featuring the islands most exotic pareaus (sarong) in creative styles. •An all-you-can-eat generous buffet including Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Grilled Fish, Polynesian Rice, Vegetables Makamaka, Tropical Fruits Anuenue, Soba Noodles, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Pacific Ahi Poke, Tossed Green Salad, and Poi (taro). •Lavish dessert bar featuring Macadamia Nut Lu'au Cream Pie, Haupia with Toasted Coconut, Pineapple Cake and Bread Pudding. Lu'au

Was fun. Food was good and performance was nice. Seemed more of a stage production than authentic but enjoyable for sure.

The location was beautiful, the staff was on point and friendly, the show was amazing. You could even watch the sunset. We had great seats in general admission. Not worth spending the extra money for VIP seating.

I felt the show could have been condensed and the entertainment value increased if the narration between performances was drastically reduced or cut out. I found that aspect boring. They definitely kept the drinks flowing though!

Good show for entertainment bought vip tickets its worth it to be up front. Food was average and drinks are all cocktail style no blended drinks and very limited beer selection overall though it was a good time.

If you want a quiet non intrusive sweet date-night luau - this is NOT it! Thats the Old Lahaina Luau (rather boring for our taste). As an ex Disney Cast Member - I appreciate things that go BOOM! This luau has the best live music, narration, beautiful hula dancers and fun hot fire-eating men! The story takes you through the... More

Entertainment and staff were the best. Location was fabulous. Food was a disappointment tho. The pig they paraded past us was not the dried out pork we were served which was a huge disappointment. I realize time is a factor but it would have been worth the wait.

This luau was great! It was a little long and drawn out, but entertaining! Food was mediocre. Staff was nice and show was interactive!
