While the museum is very small, it contains some interesting items. Additionally, the young man who was restoring an old saw was very informative, and made prints for us.

I gave it a three because you have to rate it but when we drove up it was actually closed during its regular business hours. The museum is on the high school's campus so avoid 2ish pm when they let out of school. It's also extremely small. I would suggest calling ahead if you're not near Lahaina, just in case.... More

Magnificent, it is the best school as well! Lahainaluna High School has some of the nicest and friendliest students. They'll gladly give you a free tour of the museum if you approach one and ask them to.

This is the old Maui prison/jail off Prison St in Old Town Lahaina. It doesn't cost anything, which it should not. Unfortunately there's not much info about the place. I don't know if the Park Ranger does tours, but I did ask him questions, he was knowledgable and helpful. If there no one around to answer questions or give you... More
