Great tour of an interesting island.

The only time I had been to Lanai was over 25 years ago around the time the new resort was getting their sand traps filled with sand from Australia. Our guide Tony did a great job... read more

Boat was new, clean, comfortable, crew were well uniformed, ran on time, crew were friendly, voyage was calm. Otherwise, what can i say? It's a boat! I will absolutely take it again. There is a senior rate if you ask, and a kamaina discount for local residents if you can produce a State of Hawaii ID or drivers licence, but... More

We had advanced reservations so it was an easy check-in process. They tell you to be there early and you should heed that advice. A line at the check-in can form at times and the ferry leaves promptly on schedule.

The only time I had been to Lanai was over 25 years ago around the time the new resort was getting their sand traps filled with sand from Australia. Our guide Tony did a great job filling in what happened before and after that time. His wealth of knowledge as a native of Lanai and enthusiasm made for an interesting... More

Taking the ferry to Lanai makes for a fun day trip from Maui. I read that they have a new ferry boat. It was very comfortable and fun to sit outside where you can feel the ocean breeze. We saw whales both going over and returning back. As we were getting close to the harbor in Lanai we saw dolphins... More

We love the ferry! We love the captains! The vessels are providing a comfortable ride, great views, whales (when in season), a breeze and a fast and direct connection from Maui to Lana'i. Want to visit Lana'i for the day? Early morning departures and evening rides back from Lana'i make it possible!

These guys have a couple new boats that are very comfortable and ride very nicely. We fly into Maui and then use the ferry to get to Lanai for a few days. Many people use them for day trips to Lanai. In the January to March timeframe you will see whales on your trip over. Cost is currently $60 RT.... More

Inexpensive and fairly quick way to get from Lanai to Maui or vice versa. However, NOT a sight-seeing tour. Feels very much like a cheap bus ride, but with waves and sea-sickness. My husband doesn't get motion sickness, but he was quite ill, even after taking a Dramamine. Several others were also sick on our ferry, but there were VERY... More

The ferry ride is an attraction in of itself. The boat provides a comfortable trip, either inside or outside, between the islands. It can get a bit bouncy, when the winds are up; but they cancel runs, if the swells become too formidable. During this time of year, one is very likely to see some whale activity; we did on... More

Very efficiently run and comfortable ride between the islands. Prompt departure and arrival, and you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. Taxi services await when arriving at the Lanai port so you don't have to worry about getting to your final destination on the island.

Great day trip to Lanai via ferry. You can sit up top or below. I did both and preferred to sit up top on my way back and feel the wind in my hair and see the views.
