This was a great place to just walk and enjoy. Sadly there are too many t-shirt shops and not enough mom and pop locally made items! I want “made in Hawaii “ not another country! Sadly it seems that folks enjoy the t-shirt shopping….
Beautiful little street reminds me of Key West at times.

This was a fun area to walk through for a few hours. We drove out to see the huge banyan lit up with Christmas lights. We enjoyed an early dinner, a little bit of shopping, and some walking up and down the street before dusk. It's definitely a fun little spot to visit, but I wouldn't plan to spend more than a couple hours there.

Much of what you'd expect for a tourist beach front street, lots and lots of shopping opportunities from quick snacks to sit-down restaurants, food is plentiful. T-Shirts, clothing, jewelry, etc, yup, lots of those too. Numerous Art galleries too. Has a giant Banyan tree which is interesting. Bit of homeless but wasn't overwhelming.

Front street is definitely a "tourist trap," but it's a very nice one at least. Great stores, good restaurants, and nice views of the ocean. Fun place for the family to pick up souvenirs, have lunch or dinner, and get some good shave ice. Must-do for a trip to Maui.

It was a good way to spend an afternoon, especially if it is raining or waiting for another activity, but was obviously directed towards tourism. The highlights were the CocoNene store, the banyan tree park, and the number of local artisans available. There is plenty of places to eat and grab desert afterwards as well.

This former whaler's town is a wonderful place to go shopping, and get a bite to eat. So many great choices make it hard to decide, but since I'm a problem solver, I visited a few times to try a few different restaurants,

Wow. I’ve been coming to Maui since 2005, but haven’t been to Lahaina since probably 2012. I love Lahaina’s front street, but these cosmetic sales people own three stores throughout the area and use aggressive tactics to sweep you in their stores. They are relentless and ruin the vibe of this beautiful place. I’m not sure why they act like this but it’s so annoying. Otherwise the other local shops and sites are great. Hopefully the city does something about this!

Fun shopping even for non-shoppers! Such a wide variety of galleries, local shops, restaurants and clothes! Even if you don’t walk into a store the walk through town on the water is a treat!

Never miss getting my piece of Hula Pie at Kimo's on Front Street downtown Lahaina.... There are so many good restaurants and shops you can spend all day just window shopping. All Ocean Front and fresh air.....
