Relative to other Maui hikes and attractions, this one is just good, not great. Don’t bother doing the full loop. Instead, start the trail by going left, take in the coastal sights and then turn back around and move on to your next attraction.

The Ohai trail stop provides access to the Overlook platform and the loop trail. The views are outstanding, especially of the huge Kahakuloa Head. The trail is easy and short. As with other stops on this curvy road (Hwy 30), be careful with getting in and off the parking lot.

This is an easy loop trail to take with children and friends. It's less than a mile and runs along the coast where you can often spot whales. Parking available just a short distance from trail.

This hike is easy and has breathtaking views of the ocean! Take a camera, and maybe a picnic or snack to simply sit a while and enjoy the views.
