We found this trail a little by accident. Looking for something to do on a cloudy day, we googled some trails in the area. Saw a few pictures of this trail and it looked cool,so we drove out. What we ended up seeing was amazing! So many cool rock formations and colors. The ocean is beautiful. We saw 2 blowholes which were mesmerizing. There is no actual marked trail, people just seem to wander around. It can be treacherous, hiking over steep and slippery rocks. I would recommend wearing sneakers with good grips and clothes you wouldn't mind getting dirty should you slip or have to shimmy on your bum to get down in some areas.

We took the trail to get to the water holes down by the beach, we passed the lighthouse, down to water falls and searched for the heart rock ( which is smaller and is now broken). Great views! and awesome banana bread and drinks at the beginning of trail by nice guy in white van at the start of the trail.

We did it on a rainy day but it was nice because we got out of the car close enough that it wasn't much of a "hike". We could have gone down further but it was raining so we saw the blowhole and left. Worth doing if its a short drive from where you are staying. Wouldn't dedicate a lot of time to it.

Great short hike to the coast. We enjoyed the experience. You can experience the power of the ocean. The drive was very scenic too.

It was a beautiful drive from Kaanapali beach hotel to the blowhole. It is a nice hike down and back would suggest a good pair of shoes. Nice breeze from the ocean. We also seen the heart shaped rock, we enjoyed our time there and got some great photos.
