Kahekili Beach Park is a great place to visit for beach, snorkeling, swimming, almost anything. It is very clean, there are bathrooms, and a large area with tables under shade. Parking is a challenge. While there is a lot, it fills up early and then you just have to wait your turn. It’s definitely worth it.

I know everyone talks about Black rock but this is one of the better snorke places on the island. THe reef is long and coral are great with a large variety of fish. The Beach itself is wide , flat and great for playing. The best snorkling is opposite the 2nd tower of the Westin (when walking from the south)

My family (wife and two girls ages 5 & 7) visited this beach while we vacationed in Lahaina for the holidays. It's a very long beach where there was a Westin and just one or two other resort properties nearby. If you are staying at one of these properties you have direct and easy access. We were not and we drove there. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the beach was not as crowded as Ka'anapali Beach which we had visited the day prior. In fact, it was nice to see a mix of locals and tourists. The beach was amazing and the view was spectacular. This beach had no rocks or coral which our girls really enjoyed. Additionally there were bathrooms for changing, lots of showers for rinsing off and covered picnic benches. We ended up going a 2nd time and both times we stayed until the evening and watched the most amazing sunset. This beach was really really great and because it was not crowded we could very easily maintain social distance due to covid. This was overall one of best beach experiences I have ever had.

When not running about the island exploring this is an awesome beach to relax on and enjoy swimming in the sandy beach. you can still snorkel further out and the beaches are much less crowed because hawaii just opened back up!

I'm not sure where May's Beach end and Kahekili Beach Park begins, or if May's Beach is in Kahekili Beach Park, but regardless, just an absolutely gorgeous place. The sand is smooth and the water is crystal clear with a water temperature just right in mid-March.
