Busy area with facilities, covered eating area, BBQ pits, grassy and sandy areas. Parking was not an issue either and we got there in the early afternoon. Wind picked up so we were fighting with the umbrella. Beautiful beach, nice sand, a few rocks to be found in the water, so recommend water shoes. A bit of rough surf in... More

The snorkelling at the beach was amazing. Plus there's free parking, a pavilion (first come first serve), restrooms, grassy areas, long narrow beach, there's a boardwalk that runs parallel to the beach, and there are shaded areas. Depending on the day, the surf can pick up making entry and exit a bit of a not-so-easy task due to the shore... More

This is a large sandy beach, with stretches where there's good reef structure just off the shoreline. My two teenage boys were able to spot some bone fish in the sand pockets while snorkelling. Unfortunately the wind and the swells made it impossible to get a fly down to the fish. Did catch several trigger fish, wrasse, goat fish and... More

We spent a few days at this lovely beach while staying at a condo about 10 mins away. The crowds were reasonable for a weekend, there was plenty of parking. One day we walked to black Rock beach to see the cliffs and the beach was packed with people! Little did they know a 10 minute walk would get them... More

This beach is a very good snorkelling spot. I snorkelled here twice, an hour each time and saw 2 huge turtles each time. It's just north of Black Rock, but with no rock jumpers. There is free parking, there are clean public restrooms and rinse stations near the beach

Free parking! Right next to Westinghouse villas, bathroom, shaded bench seating. Short walk from parking lot to beach, and then, reef is darn close to the beach. Good snorkeling for beginners because you do not have to swim far out to see fish. We often see turtles here. Nice variety of fish here

We've been coming here for more than ten years and still love it, even though every year is a bit more crowded. Lots of soft white sand beach or the grassy park to settle at. Surprising number of fish right offshore for snorkeling, usually calm water, great views to Lanai and Molokai, and humpbacks frolicking in the winter months. We... More

This beach is located on the north end of Ka'anapali. The beach has a fair amount of parking, picnic tables, bathrooms, lawn area and beach. You can swim, snorkel or scuba dive. The beach is quite long. It is a good place for families as well as adults.

We love this beach. We have stayed at Honua Kai since it has opened and have enjoyed spending time at this beach. Snorkeling is good right off shore, just make sure to find a good entry point. You'll see many different varieties of fish close by. Pay attention for turtles, they are known to visit this area. The beach is... More
