If you have spent a little too much time away from the main land and need your shopping fix, Whalers Village is the place. We loved all the shopping and places to eat. After lunch we walked down to the beach and the kids swam over and jumped off the black rock. Another perfect day in Maui!

This museum is in conjunction with a very upscale shopping area. Parking is only available in a paid garage. The open air museum is well done, housing an actual whale skeleton. It's staffed by knowledgeable people and has a small gift area.

The Whalers village in general, is nothing to write home about. There are a number of shops that are too overpriced to ever buy anything from. The Museum is underwhelming, and considering that I don't really get behind whaling in general, it didn't provide any memorable thoughts. I would skip it if I were you.

We stayed at a hotel close to Whalers Village. We went there many times, for meals, and shopping at one of the ABC stores. They have jewelry stores and many other shops to look through.

Misc shops and vendors. Area seems newer and is well kept. There are a few cool shops, but we were surprised at how few there were. We had anticipated spending at least several hours here, and I think we were done within 30 minutes..and that was including walking back to the vehicle. It is worth checking out but don't expect... This museum is very interesting to learn about whales. They have a skeleton of a whale there and have a short movie to watch. Interesting for the whole family.

Nice shopping center with outdoor mall. Lots of beachy shops and upscale shops. We bought two hats and some tshirts here.

We loved the self audio tour through this museum. We erect going to go again but it was under construction. It was a great collection of historical items related to whaling. Sad to see how many whales were killed.

This is an older mall area filled with lots of tourists shops that have been around for years and few touristy restaurants you'd expect to see. It has an older feel to it - not really what we were looking for.
