The Surfing Goat offers a nice tour of the farm, then you get to purchase some total delicious goat cheese, which is beneficial to any person with dairy allergies. The drive is picturesque. I wrote a review on Ocean Vodka. Surfing Goat is literally three minutes away.

This dairy is off the beaten track but that is part of the adventure. They sell all kinds of goat cheese and they let us try many samples. The salesperson was very friendly and knowledgeable. We opted for the standard chèvre and it was very good. We also bought a box of chocolates made with goat cheese, couldn't quite taste... More

We stopped by, didn't tour or anything, but spent some time on the campus, got a six cheese sampler and enjoyed the beautiful day. The place had an interesting vibe, and after about 20 minutes we were ready to leave. Some of the cheeses were delicious, but a couple (ping pong balls) were inedible. It was neat to see the... This farm is a drive, and the website says open daily and no reservations required. Upon arriving, we were excited to see many areas with goats roaming, and ready to pet them, see the dairy making process, etc. The sign said tours at 1 and 2:30 for 30 minutes or 3:30 for an hour. We were there at 2:15 and... More

This was better than expected. Love goat cheese & this little place is precious. We have a goat cheese tasting---a platter with chosen cheeses & various crackers with wine. Some of the very best combinations we've ever tried. We bought three cheeses to take with us after sampling. Could've toured the barnyard but didn't have time. We did, however, get... More

We have been going to the Goat Dairy for many years because it was such a friendly place. But this year it felt so lonely. In the past there were little goats around the outdoor area, and people out and about to talk to. This time there were not any animals around... you had to pay a fee to see... More

The brochure is misleading. We took a tour on November 15, 2016. The ONE seat, bathroom, with a non-locking door, was dirty, advertising "incredibly moisturizing goat milk soap" by the soap dish that was filthy holding only a tiny sliver of soap. We did walk to pet and feed the goats. Upon return to see the cheese milking area was... More

We visited on a Saturday morning. The milking, tour, and cheese making explanation were great! After that we got to the sampling and OMG there was sooo much! We hadn't expected to be given samples of so many cheeses and even a truffle! It was amazing! The cheeses are so good! The staff are so incredible too! So glad we... More

We enjoyed a short tour and tasting at surfing goat. The staff were friendly enough, the tour was well run and the cheeses were tasty.

We stop by there every time we have guests in town. Having spent 30+ years in the hospitality industry, I always stand back and watch to see how the staff reaches out to the visitors. You know the old saying, "every employee is the face of the company". I have been some what disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm and... More
