We stayed right across the street from this beach and therefore thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach is very clean and has a lifeguard on duty during the day. This beach is very family oriented and can get crowded easily. If you are looking for a...More

Kamaole Beach Park II was right across the street from the condo where we were staying at and it was the perfect beach. It is a pretty long stretch of beach, with rocky ends (one with tidepool area and the other just big rocks). We...More

Had a great time at Kamaole Beach Park 2 during our recent stay on Maui. Almost always great weather and always friendly people in Maui and Kihei.

Beautiful beach, small waves. Good for swimming and snorkeling. A turtle swam directly under me. It was quite a thrill. There is a lifeguard, bathrooms, outdoor shower and picnic tables on the grass. Easy walk to the sand and water. Very pleased with this beach.

Family friendly with clean facilities and great location across street from condo. Good wave activity but lifeguard stand close to help parents feel at ease.

We loved this beach. The beach is clean, sand is soft, the view is classic hawaii. Parking was not a problem for us and the beach is a very short walk from the lot. People were paddle boarding and kayaking.

There isn't a charge to use any of the beaches on Maui. If you are not staying at a place on the beach, look for a public access area.
