My uber driver in Waikiki said this was an unmissable attraction for my two days in Maui. I googled bike Maui and ended up with these guys. I did no prior research and didn't company any other companies and I still think I got the best experience. Willy picked me up dead on time in a really nice bus (I've... More

Although they offer to pick you up, I would recommend driving yourself to base camp. We were one of the first to arrive at the mountain but had to wait for an hour and a half before the sunrise. That part of the trip was fantastic but extremely cold because of the wind. Our driver Everett was great too. Now... More

The tour started out alright going up to Haleakala for the sunrise which was gorgeous. The staff were attentive. The ride down the mountain was disappointing for me, it lasted perhaps one hour. For anyone who is comfortable on a bike the pace was glacial not due to the guide but more due to the way the riders were organised.... More

First the positives. The driver (Brad) and guide (Willy) took pretty good care of us. We were fitted out with rain pants and wind breaks and helmets at the shop. There were hot drinks (coffee and hot chocolate) and pastries while we waited. There was a very good and thorough briefing prior to getting on the bikes. They opted not... More

Excellent early morning excursion to the top of Mount Haleakala for sunrise followed by a guided tour 17-mile bike ride down the mountain and breakfast stop. Guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Maui Downhill the BEST !!

I have been on tours with Maui Downhill before. In the past I enjoyed the view as we rode down Haleakala at a slow pace. I talked up this tour and convinced eight other people to book the Sunrise Tour, October 15, 2016. This ride was terrifying. We were on and off the bikes in less than two hours. We... More

The overall experience of this activity was amazingly fun! This is the perfect experience for the novice bike rider. Maui downhill is a guided tour which means they have everything pretty much covered. (Shout out to Charleston <-- our amazing guide) At the Store: they offered a resort pickup at no extra charge, danishes & coffee at the office until... More

The experience with the Maui Downhill crew was incredible. First of all, Doug, our first guide, was extremely pleasant and friendly and engaging. He made sure that each of us on the bus got acquainted & not in a cheesy way. He got us to the viewpoint early enough to beat the crowds and ensure a perfect spot for viewing.... More

My boyfriend and I met the group for a 2:15am pickup. They took us to the shop for a quick cup of coffee, a danish, and fitting of the bicycle helmets. I had read reviews and knew that it may be cold. So while others came in shorts and tank tops, we had on long pants, long sleeves, pullovers, and... More
