Beautiful
Sep 2021 • Family
Beautiful waterfall along the Hana Highway. A must stop. Get out and view and photograph. It is very lovely. Go past the waterfall to a small parking lot. There are several spaces available there.

The best waterfall that we saw all day!
Jul 2021
We went past this falls on the way to the Seven Sacred Pools. This was by far the best waterfall we saw along the Road to Hana.

Beautiful spot for a dip in the water
Jun 2021
Parking is a *%#%& but the falls are so pretty! We actually drove the Road backwards and had already hiked the Pipiwai Trail and seen Waimoku falls and were ready for a swim. This was perfect for that! Only downside - it seemed like when we got there, a lot of the people driving the usual route (starting in Pa'ia) got there at the same time (3ish?) so it was a bit crowded.

Beautiful photo op, but the parking situation is awful
Mar 2020
Yet another reason why you should not drive this yourself. Our highly experienced tour driver was able to squeeze our tour van into a parking spot and he knows exactly where to look. Meanwhile. the Hana Highway was a complete mess with cars attempting to go in both directions and tourists trying to get a good photo while the photographer tries to not get hit by a car.

Yes, the falls are beautiful and makes for great photos, but if I was driving, I am not sure I'd feel comfortable trying to park my car and then getting out of the spot with the amount of cars trying to cram into such a small space.

Quick pit stop on the way to Waimoku Falls
Aug 2019 • Couples
Don’t waste too much time here taking pictures when the real gem is just up the road. In fact, catch it on the way back. Waimoku Falls is far more impressive and you’ll want to get there early.

Tallest Falls We Saw
Jan 2020
This was the tallest falls that we saw on the road to Hana. On the side of the road but you need to find a spot to park.

Best Road to Hana trip ever.
Jan 2020 • Friends
Aloha!!! Yesterday day was our third time doing road to Hana each being different from the last. One thing we have figured out is that you must buy map, cd, app or buy the excursion. DON’T TRY TO WING THIS TOUR! You will miss amazing things along the route. Before I continue I am not affiliated in any way with the following the app I just wanted to share it with you as it made this last trip the best have ever had. It is called “Maui Road to Hana Driving tour” it is a little pricy but well worth it. The narration runs off of GPS so even though you have no cell service the guide stops you everywhere you want to stop. Also make sure you have your phone charger with you because it does run your battery out fast. If your prone to being car sick eat plenty of ginger and take Dramamine before you go! Enjoy!

Great Waterfall near the Road
Jan 2020
Wailua Falls is the largest waterfall immediately next to the road, so it's got a major leg up on the others for accessibility. it's challenge is parking, which is very limited. Still, the accessibility of this one is unique and makes it a favorite of ours.
