Longing for the cat you left at home? Don't miss Lanai`s open-air sanctuary, a happy haven for spayed and neutered cats. Imagine a large playground in paradise, where cats romp and play in Hawaii's sunshine, and snooze under shady trees. Purring cats of all shapes and sizes eagerly await your visit. Our caregivers, who joyfully care for the cats, would love to meet you too. If you're interested in adopting a cat, we love matchmaking!

We had a wonderful time passing out treats and loving on the cats. It was a well-run place that obviously provides much-needed love to lots of kitties!

This place was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend a visit. My daughter and I spent the day there and were treated very well by those who work there and those that live there (the cats). This is a wonderful place with a great cause. We will...More

I have to admit I was expecting to pet some lions, but 470 lovely, tame and attention-hungry cats were just as good. The cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed, vaccinated and domesticated and are super cute... Worth a visit

The visit here was the highlight for my wife on a recent weekend getaway to Lanai. As a cat lover, she was in heaven! Cats everywhere, mewing and purring. About 500 of them. When they weren’t swarming around you, rubbing against your legs or jumping...More

We took the ferry from Maui and took the shuttle to the sanctuary. It was odd and beautiful. Worth the day trip to see another island, pet some cats and enjoy the beauty

Stopped in here for lunch after visiting the Cat Sanctuary. The food was excellent. The service was also excellent and fun. We enjoyed visiting with the owner and his wife. Fun folks.

A huge Meowy Mahalo for visiting us at the Lanai Cat Sanctuary! Not sure where you had the meatball sub, but glad you enjoyed it!

The cats at one time would jump out at you when you opened a dumpster. They also were killing our birds off. Now they are save and snug in an incredible orphanage...or cat sanctuary. You can adopt them OR just hang out with them...to mellow...More

Aloha Luc, Greta question! We do have many many Lanai lions available for adoption. It's quite the process to send them out of state, so we don't have an adoption fee. All we ask is that you meet the cat and then cover the... More
