Very friendly employees in this visitor center and small museum. There are local maps available, and books. There are also displays about the early Hawaiian days. Worth 20 minutes of your day.

Small museum with very nice people in charge. Exceptionally nice restrooms - good to use before going up to Koke'e and the lookouts over Waimea Canyon

Good place to stop before you drive up Waimea canyon. The ladies working there are very helpful and will tell you about the area and give you directions.

Great stop for information and restroom break. Local map helps finding neat shops in Wiamea for souvenirs and eating. Old buildings give you a look back in the history of this island. Easy walking about the historical areas.
