This was a surprise. We knew about Waimea Canyon but not about this park. It is one of the most stunning places we have visited and is a "don't miss' for Kauai.

Nice access to many Waimea Canyon and Kalalau Lookout points. Many trail heads to see additional vistas. Higher elevations make it much cooler

Its a iconic view that should be experienced. Its maybe a 5 min drive further up Waimea and the high overlook with just the sounds of nature is almost spiritual. Sort of like the Arizona Grand Canyon the first time you experienced it.

Some of Kauai's most scenic views. Absolutely breathtaking. Makes you appreciate the forces of nature at work. Definitely recommended while you are in Waimea Canyon.
