It is a safety factor but it does make photography a challenge. It is a widely visited tourist attraction. Be prepared for buses Most lovely at sunset. No admission fee.

Small park but with great views. There are a couple of spouts there and a small shopping area. Views are worth it

The Spouting Horn was a stop on our way somewhere else in Kauai, and I'm glad we stopped to have a look. It is caused by a blowhole in the lava rock where the incoming tide comes up forcefully thru the hole. Just before the...More

When you’re in Poipu, please make a stop to visit Spouting Horn and be amazed by it’s regularity and variety of fountaining-depending on the force of wave action. It’s delightful for kids of all ages to watch and enjoy. I’m surprised they don’t light it...More

This was a neat thing to see and hear. Mesmerizing and even better when the surf is a little rough. They also have locals selling some wares in the area.

The “blowhole “ is extremely cool. The sound is similar to that of some animal! And the water is glorious all around. Not a place you’d spend a long time, but definitely worth dropping by!

I really loved this and we could hardly tear my dad away from it when he was visiting me on island. It sounds like some great beast inhaling and exhaling, and it's a beautiful meditation to stand and watch it do what it does. Beautiful!

Very quick look at water spouts. Not too much to see but worth 5 to 10 minute ride. Would not drive across the island

On our way to the Botancial gardens we stumbled upon a beautiful sunset here - although you can’t see the sun fully go down as the view is blocked by a little ridge. It’s a nice area of the south section of the island with...More
