Located behind the Sheraton, walk through and enjoy the gorgeous gardens, very quiet and tranquil, orchids of every color. Lovely spot to take it all in!

I didn't realize this garden was inside of a plantation resort area before we went so we felt kind of weird going in. My husband and I happened to be close by and decided to stop, and it was definitely cool, though maybe not worth going out of your way. It was kind of annoying that they had a public... More

This interesting garden is located by Plantation Garden Restaurant. There are hundreds of orchids around the entrance. Then there is a garden on the side which contains a variety of trees, flowers and cactus plants. This is a place where cactus were introduced to the island, then spread and many are in other parts of the island, becoming invasive plants.... More

Located on the grounds of the Kiahuna Plantation/Plantation Gardens restaurant, this strange, large cactus garden is kind of weird. Cactus in Hawaii??? The original plantation manager's wife was a cactus lover who imported it for her garden....leading to the wild growth of cactus around the southern part of the island. Thank you, Mrs. Moir, for these invasive species. While not... More

This is an interesting little garden for those who appreciate interesting plants. Tucked in behind the Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation Resort, it's a bit of a challenge to find. There are two parts...one side mostly orchids and not all that special other than their number. On the other side look for an array of cacti and other interesting plants that can... More

Orchids, tropical plants, fish ponds with huge koi and it is free. Adjacent to Plantation GRden Restaurant. Lovely to stroll through.

The garden seemed a bit unkempt while we were there, but the orchids were in full glory and, considering it's free to walk around, it was worth the price!

I was amazed at the different variations of orchids, all if them linked to volcanic rocks. Think of how hard it is to grow one and there are thousands here.

Although originally a succulent garden, there is an amazing number of orchids that we really liked more before you get to the succulents. Located adjacent to the Plantation Gardens restaurant, right in the resort area. Small, won't take long and worth a stop if you love orchids (especially) or succulents.

The Moir Gardens are free and open to the public. It does not take long to walk around the gardens. The food in the nearby restaurant is excellent.
