It was ok. Everyone was nice, but the farm seemed tired. Nothing was vibrant, or thriving. Granted the time of the year has a lot to do with it. I wouldn't put it in my top 10.

Guides was great, rail ride was fun. Going on the tour tasting the different fruits and learning plantation history was tasty and educational. Great family activity.

A pleasant train ride with the kids. Scenic trip with a bit of history and old Hawaii vibe. Worth doing with little kids....maybe up to 9 years old or so.

Hi Jeffrey, I suggest calling Kauai Plantation Railway to see if you can park your scooter at the station and then ride the train. You can stay on the train during the entire ride or, if you can, you can get off when... More

Yes. The plantation is very close to the main highway and shopping. It is even possible to access with local transit if you do not mind a short walk. If you take the full day tour, make sure to ask for Kai, he is an... More
