Although this ride is advertised as 45 minutes, it includes 2 sops, one of which is 10 minutes to feed feral pigs. There is a mention of the various plantings, but little in depth information.

It was an enjoyable train ride. The docent was very knowledgeable. We learned so much information in a very enjoyable way. I would highly recommend visiting and taking the train ride. We had lunch at Gaylord’s, which was DELICIOUS!

Fun ride and very informative. We enjoyed feeding the animals and they provided all the bread! Even young children could feed the animals through the fence without being intimidated by the animals.

We are so happy we included this on our visit to the island. Very educational and entertaining. The lunch at Gaylord's was priced very reasonably and was outstanding-what a setting!

First time visiting and it's a great place to learn about Kauai. The history lesson on the train and the luau taught us plenty. Would recommend to anyone.

Yes. The plantation is very close to the main highway and shopping. It is even possible to access with local transit if you do not mind a short walk. If you take the full day tour, make sure to ask for Kai, he is an... More
