It's a great view but limited parking. Most people do not stay long. It's basically a pull out with a photo op. If coconut Joe is there, he makes a basket in about 15/20 minutes. Great to watch, and he sales them for a very...More

Very nice and quite impressive falls. I personally think they should have found a way to put a viewpoint much closer. However, very nice.

The canyon drive and parking can be difficult, but this is a must see. The falls are spectacular and never disappoint.

A short drive from Lihue airport. Cruise out there (slowly!) to take a break from shopping in town. The road is narrow and there is limited parking at the falls. Currently it is not permitted to go down to the pool.

Wailua falls is easy to get to, & a short 15 min. Drive on a paved road. There is no hiking to these falls, it's right off the road! There was a lot of water coming off the falls, very pretty! These falls are affected...More

We were only able to see this beautiful waterfall from the observation spot. Which means you can not get in the water. You can not take a postcard perfect picture of the waterfall. You try to find a free parking space. It's all free parking....More

Tour was great, however I was a little upset that our tour got cut early due to ONE sick person. Yes, I understand things like this happen and can't be controlled but we should have at least gotten half our money back.

There are falls all over Kauai. I would guess these are the best to see from the road since Opaeka'a Falls, while also just off the road, are further away from the viewer. And don't get me wrong. These are pretty impressive. But once you...More

Take the drive to see this - it's about 4 miles in the interior. There is a small parking lot with a short walk to the falls. It's a pretty amazing view, but only a short visit is needed = may 10-15 minutes.

Right off the road. Viewpoint only. Can't walk or hike here but nice as a 10 minute stop - parking can be a challenge.

You can check out the falls from the road. If there is a tyrail it will be a big downhill and probably steep down and tough to get back up. There are falls nearby that have a nice easy hike: I think the name is Hookipa... More

It's not particularly steep, but can be problematic during rainy periods. Active terms and adults should have no problems. Then there's the nice dip in the pool at the end.
