Friendly and informative staff. They give you great ideas to start your visit. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop for some unique souvenir of your trip. The prints of the volcano are spectacular.
Fantastic introduction to the park. Lots of displays and information about the area & all the volcanic activity. Be sure to stop in the theater to see the video's about the volcano, some very impressive stuff
Kilauea Volcano Visitor Center has very good displays. Good views of the crater with steam. Restrooms are available and there is ample parking. Be sure to visit Kilauea iki Crater. It is possible to walk part of the rim or go down into the crater.
