I would highly recommend that you do this activity on your own. The kayaking is easy and fun and there are rentals very near the put in. The price is a little steep for the easy kayaking and snorkeling right off the St. Regis resorts...More

We did the 5 hour tour! Kayaked up the Wailua River. Hiked to the Bridal-Veil Waterfall. Enjoyed lunch at the waterfall. Tubed back down the river to our kayaks. Then kayaked back down to the starting point. It was AMAZING!

We had the most delightful 2 mile kayak/1 1/2 mile hiking experience yesterday with Kauai Kayaks, up the Waimea River to Opaeka'a (Secret) Falls. Our tour was led by a fine tour guide, TC, and his little dog Yoda. TC shared plenty of ancient Hawaiian...More

We rented from them having paddled the river a couple times before, we did not need the tour and preferred to use paddleboards and go on our own. On the plus side, they are easy to book with and the ladies at the desk are...More

I was not expecting the activity itself to be as difficult as it was. A two-person kayak has a steeper learning curve than most would expect, and it is a real workout so it was difficult to both appreciate the scenery and paddle the boat....More

Andy was awesome, we fed wild horses, visited a waterfall, and did some jumping off a cliff into the Waimea river. About 6 miles of kayaking total.

Sporty but unique day. Brian is incredibly positive and gives good energy for everyone to take it to the end of this long kayak trip. With a bit of motivation and vitality, the 17 miles are challenging, but more doable than it may seem. Unique...More

We had the best adventure yesterday! Stephanie, our amazing guide led us down a river in kayaks. The river was very mellow and easy to paddle. We docked our boats about 3 miles up and then took an easy hike to a gorgeous waterfall. Stephanie...More

You won't get dirty necessarily. However, we went to the Marriott and they let us use a hospitality suite for $30 to shower and change. There are other hotels close by that may have the same deal.

Cliff jumping is precarious on all Hawaiian waterfalls. Rotten rock and shallow pools. If you do ...make sure you buy a wheel chair in case you survive. Micco
