Years ago this was pretty nice. Now its just mostly imported trinkets. There are a couple Kauai based businesses, but as a whole it's a little disappointing.

Previously this was once a larger group of vendors, but as I understand it, due to higher rent for the spaces, many crafters were forced to leave or close down. What remains are very friendly and helpful vendors, that sell you many of their well-made items at low cost . The clothing is amazingly reasonable (aloha shirts, dresses), eyeglass cases,... More

We stopped by on our last day in Kapaa to see if there was anything we needed to buy. Unfortunately, no. There are several booths and decent prices but like others have mentioned most stuff in not locally made. There are some food trucks right across the street so if you want to spend some money you can check them... More

Mostly imported, low-quality items with a few things truly made, or at least designed on-island. Maileʻs makes lovely, high-quality bags for reasonable prices.

Interesting set up, but management must be bad. Even the Small Town Coffee shop moved out and down the street.

I came here years ago and loved it. I recently returned and was disappointed to find only 1 vendor with hand carved wood items and the rest had cheap junk. I did however purchase a wonderful carved wooden bowl and you can haggle the price if you'd like.

As others have mentioned, there is a lot sold that isn't local made. BUT you can get a great deal on souvenirs and dresses, as well as some neat, local made things. You just need to find the right spots. :) I can't remember the name of the stall, but we found one in particular that had handmade jewelry that... More

The favorite place here was a local jewelery maker "Stuff by Apple". I may have that a bit wrong but she made fun affordable jewelry out of local items that stood out from the crowd. There are plenty of stands that you can quickly walk by... but a few gems in this fair.

Nice swap meet to stop by for gifts. Not many stores but few eclectic and handmade local venders. Good place to stop by and see what venders are selling. Fun place for photos with the huge hanging shark!

It would be easy to dismiss the Kauai Products Fair because it is kind of schlocky and run down, but guess what? We ended buying a few t-shirts, a bag, a hat, some knick-knacks and three conch shells there, so KPF served its souvenir purpose. The site is on the mauka side of Kuhio at the north end of Kapaa...
