My wife did this hike a couple of weeks ago. Great place for a photo opp at the end. I don't love heights, but was able to do all of this hike no problem at all. Beautiful scenery. It gets wet there often, so can feel pretty humid. We each took a couple small bottles of water and it was... More

This was one of several places we hiked. Thank goodness the weather had been dry, otherwise some of the areas on this hike would have been very dangerous. There are actually 3 different paths leading up to the top, where there are benches at lookout points and some picnic tables for hikers to rest and eat. On our way down... More

This an excellent hike. We went with COCO who did an excellent job. We went to the top and got great pics.

We hiked during a trip in March to the "Chin" and Picnic table area from the Kapaa side. It is a nice moderate climb with several switchback areas. There are 2 small scramble areas. Do not recommend hiking in the rain. Great views from the top. Took us a little over 2 hrs total.

Nice and fast hike albeit might be steep for somebody. We were caught by rain during our hike up and the hike turns to muddy and slippery one almost instantly but then it dries really fast. The views from top were great (especially from the "forbidden" part of Giant`s nose and chin which seems like everybody is visiting (just take... More

At 56 years old i would boast ti be the oldest person to make it to the top... But that is definitely not true. Lol. There were much older people than I, coming for the hike! I took this hike with my son & his girlfriend (35 yrs old), my daughter - the marathon runner (33 yrs old) and my... More

This hike is for all hiker abilities. There are several paths that bring you to the top. One is really long and very easy, another is moderate, but has less breath taking view and the third is almost straight up. Once at the top it is amazing. Beautiful panoramic views. Do not miss the little cave at the top. Only... More

The trail is about 2 miles uphill so make sure you are in shape to make it. The views from the top are amazing. The trail took us about an hour each way and there is a picnic area on top that we ate our lunch at.

Gorgeous 4 mile trail (in and out) that winds itself up the Sleeping Giant's Chin. The first leg up is quite doable for #silversagers if you're in good shape. It was slippery from mud and wet rock, yet an easy ascent uphill. However, would not recommend the extra section to the Chin - incredibly dangerous for any age. Bring water!... More

A Rewarding Panoramic Ocean & Island View awaits the Hiker at the Top. What I enjoyed most was that most of the trail is under a Canopy of Trees.
