My family was really looking forward to renting SUP's as we saw that they had river access instead of the beach (easier for everyone to learn). We had 7 adults planning to share three SUP's for the afternoon. We couldn't all go together as we had a baby with us that had to stay behind. We got through the rental... More

Truly enjoyed our guide, Kono, had great knowledge and took great care of us (4 doubles & 1 single). His suggestions for snokeling were right on, and even gave us information on the types of fish we would see. Paddling was easy, no problems. Some swells as we exited the river mouth towards the beach just added to the fun.... More

The kayak trip is all about the guides. Kaolin and Kolo were funny, knowledgeable, professional and gracious. They made us feel welcomed and safe. The Aloha Spirit in action.

My wife and I stopped here one afternoon for a quick 2-3 hour kayak excursion. Check/purchase was super efficient and run very well by the girls in the shop. Life vest, paddles and dry bag are all provided. Launch into the water was safe and easy. Paddling to the bay or through the valley was easy and very enjoyable. Stop... More

Our guide was a great guy and very helpful. It was my wife's first aver attempt at snorkeling and she loved it. She was very apprehensive and our guide showed patience and understanding i helping her overcome her fear. Now she can't wait to do it again.

We took a kayakl trip out to Hanalai bay, snorkeled, had lunch, and kayaked back. The river was relatively calm and shallow so the kayaking wasn't too taxing. The guides shared a lot of stories and history of the North Shore of the island. They provided a great experience!

I love to kayak and thus was very happy to find a place that rents kayaks for a half day adventure on my own. I got there just before 1 pm. Perfect! I got a kayak for one for 1-5:30 for $25. Day off is very easy from their dock. They provide all safety equipment, vest and waterproof bag. When... More

All members of staff were energetic and eager to help for 9am on a Sunday morning! They made the transition into the kayak and into the river seamless. We spent 5 hours touring up the river and then back down to the mouth before arriving back at the rental site. The highlight of the trip was the length of the... More
