This course lacks character and doesn't make up for it with any special views of the coastline or beauty of the island. Maintenance is below average. If I were to rate its maintenance based on the condition of its bunkers, I would call it abysmal....More

Read several reviews of this course being one of the best on the island. It was good, challenging. Several of the greens have some issues...not sure what is happening. I though Mauna Lani and Big Island CC were much better. Good but not great.

We played the King's course and it was very nice. The only issue was the wind. Very very strong on that day and quite common in Hawaii. We had a cart for 2, with 4 bottles of water in a ice tank. We rented excellent...More

Aloha Tokyoville, Thank you very much for your wonderful review and we appreciate it very much! The wind at times is very challenging. We hope you will come back again soon to play again! Perhaps try the Beach Course next time.

The review title pretty much says it all. It's got a links style layout (sort of), deep bunkers, and lava boundaries that eat up golf balls. Decent views of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea throughout the golf course and nice use of greenery and plumeria...More

Aloha Jun_r, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Waikoloa Kings' Course. We do wish your experience had been more spectacular. The designers of the course, Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish crafted a Scottish links-style layout at the Kings’ that fits...More

The people were friendly, and I thought the layout was great. The bunkers were as bad as I have seen anywhere. I understand that the wind makes maintenance difficult, but it looked to my like they are not even trying. There were weeds growing in...More

Literally, there are goats running around this course. For $155 green fee, you should expect a nice facility with nice greens and fairways. The outside staff was not friendly at all. The starter was rude to us. The tee boxes were all torn up. The...More

Played both courses and i will not argue with any design features. Courses are what you see what you get in terms of visuals. Staff was friendly and accommodating. As a low handicap player i was very disappointed with the conditions of the sand traps....More

Typically two weeks. If you are staying at Waikoloa you might be able to book earlier. I suggest just calling them.
