The Island Harvest Salad is a flavor melody. Mixed greens, fresh strawberries, orange slices, feta cheese, candied pecans and grilled shrimp. And strawberry vinagrette salad dressing - excellent meal. Service is friendly and servers wear masks! As a resident, we have dining choices, and this is our Sunday - have dinner and watch the football game. You can also have food and drink delivered to your seat in the theater as you watch a movie.

My family and I went to see THE GREATEST SHOWMAN on 6-25-20. We were very happy that the theater has reopened. For $7 you can't beat the experience of being back at the movies. A special 5 STAR thank you to MIKE, the manager. After returning home after the movie I noticed I could not find my cell phone. I logged into Find My iPhone and found it to be at the theater still. I drove down to the theater and talked with the manager MIKE. Without a hesitation he was so helpful in trying to help me find it. He went into the theater and tried to find it but no luck. The movie Jurassic park had started in the same theater and it was loud so we could not hear it ping. He immediately gave me his phone number and assured that after the movie was over we would find it. He told me that it would be over about 8pm. I headed home. I returned a little before 8 and waited outside. SURE enough thank goodness, he found it. I remember when Mike was a server when they first opened and now he is management. They are in good hands with him the face of the business. Keep up the good work. All Big Island residents need to support this LOCALLY owned theater during these times. A+

Good place to get out of the rain, current movies, and you can dine-in! What is there more to love in life?

Sorry this is long but this place as some serious issues. I have lived in the area for many years and was looking forward to a venue that didn't require driving to Kona. Movie prices are high but it is for the experience of over sized and generally comfortable chairs in a cozy theater, although as many have mentioned they don't recline. Taking into travel time, gas, etc. the price was acceptable. My first trip was shortly after they opened a couple years ago. We ordered pizza that was to be delivered to the movie. After a lengthy 45 minute wait they ended up bringing the wrong pizza. So what are you gonna do leave the theater and spend 15 minutes placing a new order and then waiting another 45 minutes? The movie would be over and you would miss critical parts. I chocked it up to opening jitters and went back a few more times without ordering food other than popcorn. Early on the popcorn was really good but it changed to small hard kernels and is not recommended. Finally after 2-3 years decided to go back on Valentines day for a dinner movie. We were there 15 minutes prior to movie and ordered food and proceeded to theater. I was actually worried the food would come before the movie started. Being the second couple in the theater I surely didn't expect what followed. By the time the movie started the theater was 75% full. For the first hour the food runners were delivering food to everyone that came in after us. We were like kids every time one came in, sitting up in our chair as they walked towards us only to have them turn at the row in front of us. We stopped one of the guys and asked about our order. He said he would check on it. I wanted to wait and see if the movie would end before we got our food but my girlfriend was getting really irritated because she was so hungry so after another 15 minutes I had to check. I went outside and a manger happened to ask me if he could help me. I handed him my receipt and said yea, you can refund me my money and deliver me my food. "Why would I do that" he said. Because I have been waiting and hour and a half for my f'ing food, I said. Well you don't have to swear he said. I got the refund and the food arrived so we were able to finish it just as the final credits rolled. Of course the wrap was supposed to come with french fries which they didn't bring. Through it all there was a tough guy staring be down behind the counter and then waiting on the side when we left the theater, like I was going to start a physical altercation. I even saw him in Costco this past weekend and again he stared me down. Suggestion to the theater, change the theater food to simpler items and have a dedicated cook only for theater patrons because your current system is a disaster.

Stay FAR away from this place. Rude, disrespectful, downright unprofessional staff, excuses galore, complete ripoff. Tried to see Midway 11/10/2019 and due to a malfunctioning projector in one of the auditoriums they merged 2 Midway shows into one and in the process GAVE AWAY ALL THREE SEATS WE PAID FOR! They also started the movie about 4-5 minutes early. They tried blaming the website twice but none of their excuses made sense. Apparently the seating error was due to bad handwriting on a "reserve these seats" note. Tried to go back the next day after getting a refund and the auditorium with the bad projector was back in service, last 1/3 of the movie was corrupted visually. No refunds offered, staff scattered, manager refused to talk to anyone. I had to cut this review WAY DOWN due to Tripadvisor's character limit, but I also reviewed this place on Yelp. Head over there (look for the name Jeff W.) to see my full review, as well as the owner's rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, downright immature reply to my review. They say customer service starts at the top and if the owner is THAT unprofessional/immature, I can see why the rest of the staff is too, including one guy who waved me off like I didn't matter while walking away from me when I said we won't be back and we live here. Bottom line: YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO GO TO THIS PLACE. I'll go to Regal instead, they might be incompetent but at least they're nice.
