We greatly enjoyed our time at Greenwell Farms. Keiko led our tour and she was very knowledgeable about the farm and the Greenwell family. The farm had so many interesting plants beyond just coffee. We learned about lots of fruit trees, orchids, macadamia nuts, avocados,...More

Wide variety of coffee available and free tour offered. Very kind, helpful staff. Prices seem high for the source of much of the coffee, though.

We spent about an hour at Greenwell Farms this afternoon. Our free 30 minute tour was led by Tom, who was interesting and informative. The samples at the end of the tour gave us a chance to try a variety of different roasts, which was...More

We stopped at Greenwell for a coffee tour and tasted all the blends before it left. The coffee was just ok. Even if they charged half the price I’m not sure I would have bought any. But we learned lot about the process on the...More

I had no idea how labor intensive coffee growing is. The tour was brief (less than an hour) but very informative. Coffee tasting came at the end and I have to say that Kona coffee really is the world's best. We bought for ourselves and...More

A nice free tour of a working coffee farm and some of the processing involved. Our guide was also active in the local historical society and it turns out old Mr Greenwell was one of the originators of Kona coffee way back when. Some of...More

We stopped for coffee tasting and tour, coffee was bitter, over priced and their tour is free and you get what you pay for, complete waste of time, do not recommend it.

I'm not that interested in coffee but this tour was great. For a start its free and you get to see what's involved in growing and processing coffee. For instance, it takes 70 coffee beans to make one cup of coffee. Maybe a good reason...More

My visiting friends wanted to do a coffee farm tour. We all went to Greenwell Farms & enjoyed an informative & free tour. The guide gave us a lot of information leading to a better understanding of how Kona coffee is grown & harvested.

This is a working coffee farm with a spectacular view of Kona coastline, so try to catch the last tour of the day. Of all the things to spend time on in Kona, this is probably not as worth the time. It is beautiful and...More

Our roasts are enjoyed by a lot of folks who know where we are at and how to ask for them! We are on a century old coffee farm with about 4 dozen neighbors who all have small family coffee farms. Greenwell is in the middle... More
