Wonderful Businessman (Emerich), runs a great equipment supply business for the local agricultural community. He also has coffee and macadamia nuts for sale. Don't be fooled by the look of the location. Drive in and, if nothing else, you will get to learn a little about the island from a great person.

I have done business and known Emmerich for almost 15 years now. He is truly a man of many talents, with a spirit that calmly takes over your presence as he gleefully shows you his latest invention. It may be a new press or a personal mac nut cracker, a rare jar of mac-nut butter, a natural cacao seed pod... More

We always make sure to go see Emmerich when we visit the Big Island. His business is small and personal. He has the best Kona coffee and the chocolate covered macadamia nuts are SOOOO good. (They're coated in toffee, then dark chocolate & then dusted with powdered sugar!) He has the best prices, too, and will ship coffee for you.

This out of the way spot will not only provide you with great Kona coffee at a great price, but an experience only the owner can provide. . . worth all the effort to find.

Emmerich is the best! My wife and I visited in December 2013. I've ordered from him a couple of times. This is the absolute best place for macadamia nuts and coffee. If you order from him, he'll ship US Priority Mail. Our hotel told us to go tour a coffee farm somewhere else, but go buy from Emmerich. Best advice... More

This place is a diamond in the rough. Coffee raw, roasted, ground ... anyway you want. And they will arrange the shipping. They also sell macadamia nuts in different flavors like honey roasted (yum). I will stop in during every return trip to the Big Island.

This is not a true store, but instead is a small, cramped open workshop area where Emmerich works on and sells machinery to coffee farmers. In exchange, he gets great prices on original coffee direct from the farmers. This is by far the best pricing you will find anywhere in Kona. Not only that, but he'll stop whatever he's doing... Emmerich is the owner of this tiny company and you would be terribly sad if you knew you passed up his shop! He supplies most of the coffee roasters with their equipment around the island, but the real secret is his $15 per pound of roasted KONA Coffee, the cheapest you will find anywhere around the island by a long... This whole in the wall - is located out by Captain Cooks memorial (which you will most likely have to call 808-322-7799) to find it. Ask for Emmerich Grosch (owner) and get ready for some great deal on KONA COFFEE AND MORE. He will ship it for you if you as well. You can pick it up as well, but... More

This tiny location is large on treating visitors and shoppers like royal guests. Emmerich Grosch, owner, is a very friendly and knowledgeable man who loves coffee and mac nuts and loves to share how coffee cherries are processed, how to roast coffee and how mac nuts and the chocolate are harvested and processed. Best yet, his prices are the best... More
