Fantastic layout with fairly decent conditions. Greens had been punched recently so was given a discount. Not as well manicured as Mauna Lani South. A very fun course to play with long par 3s and a variety of holes along the way. Club up on...More

This and the Mauna Lani South course set the standard for big island courses. The Mauna Kea, when we played there, felt much more relaxed and less busy than other Kohala courses. My wife and I had a 7.48 teetime and got through the course...More

By the way, rent an apartment at Waikoloa through vrbo and drive to the course. Nicer than the hotel.

The Mauna Kea Beach Resort is a hotel so the rooms we have stayed in, 6 or 7 times do not have a washer and dryer. If you stay in the homes, villas or condo up the hill, likely they do.
