We stopped here with friends who live near Kona. What a spectacular view, even on a day that was a little rainy . You get a view of the surf, the mountain range with a spectacular water fall, and agricultural fields. I highly recommend this...More

If you want to see the small falls along with the larger then expect to do some walking. If you want to see the main falls only go to the left!

Long hike down and then tough back up but special place. Parking at lookout may be limited so prepare to walk 1klm to start of descent.

The title says it all. Not an easy place to get to but worth the effort. Take a guided tour. The information about the history of the valley is not easily gotten anywhere else.

Take the ride down into the valley for great viewing of the falls. I loved the horses that were along the way.

I don't think you can see this from the viewing station, but if you go on a tour of the area, you'll likely see it.
