We went with Captain Dan in 2/27 in the morning and had a great time! Captain Dan knows where to go to find whales! We were the only boat that was in the area that we saw many whales breach and even swim under our boat! Had a great time and would recommend this company to go watch the whales!

We were underwhelmed with today's tour. We saw a few whales off in the distance. Just our bad luck I guess. Other reviewers on different dates report getting close to the whales and seeing them breach. Other reviewers report on seeing dolphins. We did not see any. If we would have see whales at a closer range, we would give... More

I have to say that whale watching is a challenging undertaking! I watched from a high hill on shore (known for its whale viewing) for several hours and only saw two whales. So, with that average in mind, we went on the early morning tour. This is not an activity centered on entertainment. It's centered on observation and understanding that... More

Captain Dan and his crew were extremely knowledgable and friendly. It was an amazing voyage and we saw so many whales! We saw a calf breach several times. It was truly breathtaking. The boat is comfortable and made it easy for all to see. This was so EXCITING!

We had a great time on this tour today. Folks need to remember that these whales are wild and don't just appear on demand but appear they did this afternoon. Majestic! Captain Dan and his crew were informative and personable. I appreciated the snacks and the informality of the tour. Three hours flew by. I would recommend that anyone who... More

Pretty sad. You are at the mercy of nature but it really isn't anything to write home about. He basically just tours around until one of the passengers or himself sees something. The snacks and refreshments are really pathetic. I counted on the 'experience' aspect of the website but felt it wasn't worth the total 2 minutes of whale sightings.

You are the mercy of nature on this tour. We were on the boat for almost three hours and saw about ten seconds of whales and their tales. Captain Dan kept up a running dialogue on whales so you learn something. Try to sit under the canopy so the sun does not bake you. The crew was pleasant. The snacks... More

I can not say enough about this experience and the company that provided it for me. Capt. Dan was recommend (highly) by a friend that used his service years ago....nothing had changed! We had a family crisis the day before and they were kind enough to accommodate or needs. We had seen a Whale 5 mins into the trip and... More

Eventhough it is a crowded tour, I really enjoyed it. Capt Dan knows a lot about this amazing creatures, and he wants to o share his knowledge with everybody. We saw more that 6 whales, one mother with her baby!!! Unforgettable! He offers snacks, juice, water, fresh towels and mints, so he takes care of us. The crew is very... More
