Our tour takes you to view the largest and most active volcano in the world, the Kilauea Caldera. The Kilauea Caldera is a massive crater encircled by plumes of sulfuric smoke, and the signs of lava destruction are everywhere. The lava flows are constantly shifting, and our tour takes you as close as possible to see them. On our tour, you will walk through an actual lava tube which include extensive lava flows and Hawaii's unique black sand beaches. Later, you’ll pass through lush rainforest as our guide points out many native tropical plants, such as red ginger and ginseng. Our tours take in 10 major Hilo attractions ensuring you have a spectacular day in Hilo.

Kai (our guide) was fantastic! So incredibly knowledgable and friendly. He really made our trip a great experience. It was a long day, but he kept it interesting. Lunch was fantastic, and the sites chosen were really good. We weren't able to get a great view of the Waimea Valley because we were there in the late afternoon, so the... More

We flew over Big Island with helikopter without the doors. The Mother Nature let us show only a small part of lava but apart from that this was a wonderful adventure

We booked this tour based on all the reviews but were sorely disappointed as we saw no lava except for a short glimpse of a tiny redness on the black lava. This review is no reflection of this particular company but what one would expect flying in a helicopter over the volcano and what one actually sees. It is natural... More

Melvin was our tour guide - he was very knowledgeable and friendly! He made sure we were on track, and took us to few more sites when we had some time leftover! I would recommend this tour if you're not into hiking too much. It was a nice mixture of walking and driving around!

Did this tour from Oahu on a day trip. Capn Bob was our brilliant and knowledgable tour guide. We really enjoyed the volcano part. The start of the morning was also great. It dropped off a bit mid morning with a visit to a nut factory and an orchid shop - really a garden centre. That was a low point.... More

This was a great way to see some important sites on the Big Island without doing the driving! Mike was a fantastic guide. He picked us up at our condo in Kona on time.
