This hike is fairly quick and easy, there are a lot of steps so it might be more challenging for some people. You pay $5 when you park and then can spend as much time as you like in the park. The hike is about a 1/2 mile paved hike that takes your to see two different waterfalls.

Great trail through lushy jungle! We loved the waterfalls. The tropical vegetation and flowers are really cool and the actual waterfall view is breathtaking. The trail is very mild and can be easily completed in 30 min

There is a parking fee of $5 if you park in the lot and $1 per person of you parked outside of the lot. Definitely take the suggested circle route. Not long at all-paved and very easy with lots of stairs. Beautiful area and beautiful falls. There was a fruit stand in the way to Akaka Falls-Mana Aloha Farm-STOP!! They... More

Beautiful walk among lush greenery...we went about 10:00 am when it was still cool and not so crowed. I would not recommend for people with any walker or cane..a bit too hard. We were able to see Mauna Kea with snow in the background, too.

Easy to find, $5 for parking close by, worth every penny. Lots of steps but again, worth every step. About a quarter mile of walking.

A pleasant walk on concrete sidewalks to view the falls. Not wilderness, but still beautiful. The falls are about 475 feet high.

Good place to visit if you have some time to kill. You will see very unusual vegetation, and plant life.

The falls were an amazing site. We took our two young children and older parents. It was easily accessible and an easy walk. We all had such a wonderful time. This park is serene. You truly feel as if you are in Ferngully. It's beautiful in sight, sound and scent.

The walkways are all paved. It does not take long to see both waterfalls. The second one is a little hard to see from the angle of the path. If you have bad knees forget it as there are quite a few steps to climb. The large fall to the left is beautiful.

This is a fantastic small park not far off the main highway - definitely worth the stop and $1 entry charge. Such a gorgeous waterfall and lush, tropical jungle around it - the park has a lovely, easy to walk path for a short walk around it.
