Easy, pretty drive up slope to two large and several smaller waterfalls visible from paved path. It does have many stair sections, but is a easy trail. Delightful quick walk.

Wherever you are , on the island, this should be a must see. The trail is gentle, and the bamboo forest is quite interesting. The waterfall speaks for itself. The drive to/from Kona will make this a very worthwhile, all day, trip

We stopped here to see the waterfall. We parked outside the gates which saved us $5. Then it was $1 per person to walk the many steps to see the falls. You couldn’t see the bottom of the falls due to the foliage. We then...More

Definitely not to be missed. It's about a 20 minute walk around. Parking was available right there and extended onto the road.

This waterfall is an incredible sight - it's simply massive and hard to capture on camera. There is a hike to see it, but it's moderate. The longer loop around the park has many flights of stairs, so be mindful of that if you are...More

There's a nice paved loop that takes you to the falls which are beautiful. We got to the viewing area and could only think "Man, I wish there was a way down there". ($5 I think) and a buck a person to take the well...More

Its a short hike to the falls but it provides a great view and photos. Lots of diverse vegetation and plans to enjoy.

Beautiful area, but even though tourism is down on the Hilo side of the island, this spot is always a traffic jam. There are so many lovely falls and scenic spots that to fight the crowds to go to this one wasn't worth it to...More

Nice and easy walk loop were you reach both waterfalls. Beautiful and lush vegetation. It gets humid!
