We done the Circle of Fire and Waterfalls flight as a shore excursion from the Pride of America Cruise Ship. It was the first time in a helicopter for my wife but she felt very safe for the entire trip. It was an overcast day...More

We (self, husband and 14 year old daughter) took the big island spectacular tour with waterfall landing. Wonderful - we've all flown in helicopters before however the design of these with the larger glass viewing was fabulous. In the end it was a little long...More

First helicopter filight for my wife, and she loved it! Spectacular views, a great commentary from our very knowledgable pilot and very professionally organised. Most enjoyable.

Jason did a wonderful job of showing us the sites. We found lava in the keyhole opening and saw lava flowing in the sea! Waterfalls are amazing from the air.

I was very disappointed in our Circle of Fire Tour on Sept. 22. I would agree with one of the previous reviews that the pilot seemed to be "burned out." He didn't seem to enjoy his job nor care whether his passengers enjoyed the trip....More

Hi there, It doesn't take much time to get luggage and you don't have to go through any passport control. The helicopter terminal is in the main airport building right next to arrivals and departures. I'm always over... More

Hi, We will be visiting Hilo in October and I'm interested in the Blue Hawaiian Helicopters tours. We will there for one day only, arriving on a cruise ship. Can someone please answer the following questions for me? (i) How far is it from the port (or ship terminal) to the Hilo airport? (ii) how long should it take to get to/from the airport? (iii) What is the best/most reliable way to get to/from the airport? How much should it cost? (iv) Which is the best time of day to see the volcano? (v) Does Blue Hawaiian Helicopters have set times for their tours or can we organise a tour at any time? (vi) Is full payment expected at the time of booking? (vii) If its inclement weather on the day of booking and the flight cannot continue, do we get full 100% refund (either in cash or recredited to a credit card) on the day of booking and at the time of cancellation? Thanks in advance
